To empower justice-involved individuals, low-income seniors and housing-insecure youth to overcome barriers through comprehensive, wraparound support, helping them and their families achieve lasting stability and belonging.
New Chapter Alliance (NCA) is a Charlotte-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2020, born out of lived experience and a commitment to lasting community change. What began as a grassroots effort has grown into a credible, multi-service organization — the first reentry nonprofit in Charlotte to receive Section 8 housing vouchers, and now a developer of affordable housing for those in need.
We serve individuals and families navigating reentry and housing instability, while building partnerships with the corporate funders, institutions, philanthropists and public figures who want to invest in meaningful, community-driven change.
NCA delivers wraparound support that meets people where they are and walks with them toward stability, from affordable housing and reentry services to employment, healthcare access, family reunification and case management. We also invest in the next generation through scholarships and summer programming and show up for our community in moments of crisis and grief.
